CortiX

ONE core, LIMITLESS autonomy
CortiX provides a comprehensive hardware and software platform , delivering supervised autonomy for Uncrewed Surface Vessels (USV).
This scalable solution can transform any new or existing vessel into a fully autonomous USV.
The technology supports a versatile range of deployments , including uncrewed missions, remote-controlled operations, or crewed missions with intelligent assistance.
A comprehensive software and hardware framework to enable a high level of autonomy and supervision of a USV. CortiX is mission goal centric and its architecture enables a tight coupling with external payload data for the most advanced autonomy functions.
Integrating a dedicated mission manager with native Obstacle Detection and Avoidance, the platform automatically executes pre-defined safety behaviors like speed reduction, emergency stopping, or dynamic vessel re-routing whenever a risk is detected.
Designed to manage a multi-redundant communication system for LOS and OTH operations. The architecture ensures robust connectivity via automatic failover between 4G and satellite links, maintaining persistent data exchange even in degraded environments.
The cloud/edge-based architecture provides a highly versatile solution in terms of operation supervision, whether LOS or OTH.

MISSION-DRIVEN and user-centric INTERFACE
Integrated Mission Control
The interface centralizes all critical data —from cameras and radar to payload controls—to provide comprehensive situational awareness through a single, intuitive platform.
Robust and continuously updated , it provides a reliable operational edge for every mission, regardless of complexity.
It is built on an open framework and non-proprietary standards , ensuring data interoperability and facilitating the integration of additional components.

Advanced obstacle avoidance
The advanced Obstacle Avoidance System (OAS) is COLREG compliant and based on AI designed to ensure safe navigation in complex maritime environments .
This system relies on a combination of advanced sensors (video and IR cameras, LiDAR, radar…) and sophisticated software algorithms, to detect and avoid obstacles in real time, allowing for safe operations in dynamic maritime environments.

Open-architecture software stack
The CortiX autonomous-vessel software leverages ROS 2 with high-performance C++ and Rust components. Robust interoperability is ensured through standard communication protocols—WebSocket, DDS, and Zenoh. Published IDL definitions provide fully open interfaces, enabling seamless payload integration or the incorporation of the robot into existing systems.
