ICARE selects Exail’s Flight Training Simulator

Paris-Le Bourget, France, 20/06/2023 – ICARE, a benchmark in aviation training for more than 30 years, has selected Exail’s next generation EASA FTD2/FNPT II simulator   for the training of its customers’ A320 pilots. The contract was signed today during Paris Airshow by Philippe Goetz, CEO of ICARE SAS, and Dominique Giannoni CEO of Exail.

ICARE, a benchmark in aviation training for more than 30 years, has selected Exail’s next generation EASA FTD2/FNPT II simulator for the training of its customers’ A320 pilots. The contract was signed today during Paris Airshow by Philippe Goetz, CEO of ICARE SAS, and Dominique Giannoni CEO of Exail.

This flight simulator is the turnkey solution we’ve been looking for in order to deliver our customers the high-quality training they deserve in terms of Type Rating, Multi Crew Coordination and Recurrent Training. It will be a perfect complement to our future Level D Full-Flight Simulator which is due to be certified before year end, explained Philippe Goetz.

Exail’s EASA FTD2/FNPT II training simulator is expected to be delivered on July 6 before obtaining its DGAC (French Direction Générale de l’Aviation Civile) certification in July.

Exail’s expertise in the design and manufacture of flight simulators is today widely recognized. The company’s clients incidentally include airlines, ATO’s, the French ENAC (Ecole Nationale d’Aviation Civile) and Eurocontrol. More recently, Exail has been selected by Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance to design and deliver a full flight simulator for the training of the French Air and Space Force Aircrews flying the E-3F Awacs (Airborne, Warning and Control System) as a part of its cockpit upgrade program.
