In this context and with the aim to increase the safety of their drivers, the car rental company AVIS Albania, the car rental company chose to perfect their training with a simulation method.
AVIS Albania, has tasked to try ECA Group EF-Ultra 2 car & EF-NG Truck and Bus simulator. It is designed as a step up cab design with a 3 DOF motion base with robust OEM truck component systems, including steering, pedals, shifter and more. It is delivered with a comprehensive driver training software suite with unlimited use license.
ECA Group EF-NG Truck and Bus simulator incorporates a realistic cab, a motion platform for enhanced realism, and lifelike graphics to produce an immersive training environment. Its integrated driver training program addresses basic to advanced topics including backing, parking, docking, risky situations, crash avoidance with other vehicles, pedestrians and animals, as well as driving in adverse weather, at night, hauling oversize / overweight loads, and much more.
A virtual instructor narrates the lesson and walks the driver through the exercise, while providing verbal, written and icon feedback. The software offers dense traffic interaction, which exposes the driver to driving on challenging, modern roadways, and practice scenarios can be created in seconds.
This sucessful experience led to the purchase of an EF-NG Truck and Bus simulator by Avis Albania.
