ECA Group has been awarded a contract for the design and realization of a new test mean permitting the validation of civilian helicopter subsystem before its final integration on the final assembly line (FAL).
This mobile test bench is developed by ECA Group to test automatically a complete air conditioning system (ATA 21) before helicopter final assembly. This test mean is part of a new industrial reflexion driven by Airbus Helicopters: testing complex subassemblies before integration on the vehicle, instead of testing then after final integration, avoiding that way to dismount them if non functional.
T-CELL™ technology, chosen for its high level of maintainability and scalability, is the backbone of this test mean integrating air flow measurement, sensors acquisition, actuator control and electrical tests.
Test management is fully remote-controlled with a wireless table, a User Centered Design of the HMI allows easy operation of the tool.
