ECA Group awarded by Groupe ProRisk for a Ship training simulator

The ECA Group ShipSim System is an interactive multifunctional bridge simulator, used for training activities as maneuvering techniques in a realistic and dynamic environment.

The proposed system is composed by a Ship virtual bridge simulator with simulation conning monitor, an external view, Radar ARPA , a GPS cartographic simulator, fully integrated into the system.

The ECA Group Ship Simulator Stand Alone contains, in simplified form, to allow use on a single PC,  the same elements and the same capabilities of a "full mission" simulator bridge and it simulates all types of navigation and maneuvering in different environmental conditions.

In order to ensure more realistic environment training, the simulation system is equipped with a desktop maneuvering console completely designed and produced by ECA Group, for control of speed and course of the vessel through realistic commands.

This console is based on ShipSim solution and it grants to trainee the feeling of maneuvering the virtual ship models using a real maneuvering station, designed as a replica of real consoles installed onboard of merchant vessels
