After the deployment in 2016 of the first A320 Mobile Flight Management System Trainer in Japan, ECA Group concluded with the Japanese airline All Nippon Airways an agreement for the delivery of A320 FMST licenses.
Known as the largest airline in Japan, ANA provides domestic and international air transportation services. All Nippon Airways has been awarded by SKYTRAX, a consultancy which runs an airline review and ranking site, the highest "5-Star" that recognizes the best in airline service, five years in a row.

ANA is using ECA Group’s A320 Free-Play FMS Trainer on iPad as training aid for pilot ground training phase. We lend to trainees an iPad which enables them to use the FMS Trainer for course preparation and revision "anywhere", "anytime" and "with anybody".
We got an excellent feedback from our trainees: they truly appreciate this useful and efficient mean of training.
The FMST is very cost-efficient and allows downloading of ANA’s own Navigation Database, which grants us the possibility to increase understanding and FMS’ operations.
Initial relationship between ANA and ECA Group began in 1996 with the delivery of an A320 3D FMS Trainer. The selection of latest tablet version of A320 FMST was made during the visit of the airline on ECA Group’s booth at WATS (World Aviation Training Symposium) held in Orlando, USA.
ECA Group's A320 Flight Management System Trainer is a truly free play simulation which runs on tablets, laptops or desktop PC. It can be also coupled with hardware replicas and the pilots are able to be trained on their own procedure by using ECA Group specific navigation database converter.
