ECA Group, with its Aerospace division announces the accomplished installation in AIRBUS St-Nazaire and Hamburg sites of newly designed and produced aircraft production tools. They allow best ergonomic working positions, maximize efficiency and optimize lead-time in aircraft parts sub-assembly.
This successful commissioning and the subsequent start of production are achieved through a partnership with Cimlec Industrial Romania, another subsidiary of Groupe Gorgé.
Following a first phase of modification of the existing tools to make them more ergonomic, Airbus on-site teams started producing the aircraft parts with new aircraft production means in accordance with the project expectations. Then, after successful testing and assembling operations, the installation of these ergonomics module tools was conducted without disturbing the on-going production. Moreover, ECA Group managed to deliver the whole project within a short time frame, in a timely manner and with respect to the requested performances levels.
This project looks promising as ECA Group’s innovative concept was developed to be transferred to numerous other types of industrial ergonomics applications, resulting thereby in a compliant aircraft tool characterized by its high precision, reliability and sturdiness.
ECA Group has demonstrated its capabilities in mechanics, electronics, project management as well as its performance in conducting industrial projects both nationally and internationally.
