For more than 10 years, in partnership with ECA Group, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries maintains, for the benefit of the Japanese Navy, the 24 PAP MK5 delivered by ECA beginning of 2000’s whose active service is planned until 2026.
In the frame of its Support & Services policy, ECA proposes to its customer’s different levels of logistic support.
According to its choice, the customer can benefit of a personalized support from standard support activities up to full through life logistic support including, but not exclusively:
- Spare parts delivery and hot line services
- Preventive and corrective maintenance operations
- Monitoring of obsolescence
- Documentation and configuration management
- System development and upgrade
During this two days visit, ECA Group made also a full presentation of its new products and systems, The Japanese delegation was particularly interested in the off board MCM system Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) Inspector MK2 and MDS KTER.
Fitted with its dedicated Launch and Recovery System (LARS) for K-STER I or SEASCAN Mk2 and one or more canister for K-STER C delivery, the USV INSPECTOR Mk2 and associated Command Control (C2) station provide the navies with a Mine Counter Measure offboard module which could be easily embarked on non-dedicated ships like OPV, Frigate or LCS.
