ECA Group Aerospace division is proud to announce the successful achievement of the performance tests and technical analysis (V&V) of the very first batch of its ergonomic aircraft production tools concept.
ECA Group’s project was carried out with two other Groupe Gorgé companies: Cimlec Industrie and its romanian branch Cimlec Industrial, mainly specialized in fields of automation and electrical engineering.
ECA Group have greatly benefited from Cimlec Industrie's expertise in automated systems for the automotive industry to meet the new requirements of the aeronautics market.
The ergonomic aircraft production tools, designed by ECA Group enable to :
- Reach best ergonomic working positions ;
- Maximize efficiency ;
- and Optimize lead-time in aircraft parts sub-assembly.
The high-accuracy positioning with more than one ton load has been demonstrated during this project test.
The first batch was just installed in Germany, whereas a next series of five units is planned for installation in France for the beginning of December 2016.
This industrial project is a perfect illustration of ECA Group capabilities in customized mechanical engineering, part of the product lifecycle management (PLM).
