ECA Group unveils its Robotics & Integrated Systems Division's new premises in Couëron

The leader in underwater robotic mine disposals, ECA Group's skills and expertise are recognized all over the world for its naval, ground or aerial robots as well as for its systems integrating various automatism and robotics competencies. ECA EN, as a part of ECA Group’s Robotics & Integrated systems Division, specializes in power electronics or automatism based systems and in specific silent motors for submarines or surface ships in the naval defence industry. As an expert in acoustically and magnetically silent equipment, ECA EN is in 2016 at the forefront of ultra-high technology innovation with silicon carbides for power electronics or aerial magnetic measuring systems.

Today, 9 out of the 10 leading armed forces worldwide are equipped with solutions developed by ECA Group.

ECA Group brings together its various areas of expertise, from the design of naval, underwater, land and airborne drones to the development of integrated systems, in order to create a full range of solutions for the defence, nuclear and industrial markets, etc.

At the inauguration of these new premises, Philippe Novelli, Chief Executive Officer of ECA EN, announced: "Since its creation, ECA EN has been a major local player, both in economic terms and in terms of innovation and employment. Bolstered by our international expansion, we firmly believe that our growth must continue to respect the entire regional ecosystem."

ECA EN's performance reflects the dynamic momentum being seen across the entire ECA Group, which today comprises three divisions: Robotics & Integrated Systems, Aerospace and Training Simulation, and this year celebrates 80 years in business.
