The Minister was accompanied by the General Delegate for the Armament Joël Barre, the Prefect of the Var Jean-Luc Videlaine and the deputies of the Var Geneviève Levy, Cécile Muschotti and Jean-Louis Masson.
After a presentation of ECA Group activities, the French Minister of Armed Forces discovered the workshops where different submarine robots are produced for the Ministry of Armed Forces and, in particular, submarine drones AUV A27 for the Franco-British program MMCM- (Maritime Mine Counter Measures).
During the visit, the Minister was also able to measure the range of naval, air and ground drones of ECA Group. The K-STER mine disposal system, the autonomous drones AUV A9-M (in service since 2013 within the French Navy) and AUV A18-M, as well as the UAV IT180 aerial drone or ground robots UGVs COBRA and IGUANA have been presented.
The Minister was also able to discover ECA Group's robots and drones for civil markets such as the MAX robot for heavy logistics in the factory or the underwater autonomous vehicle AUV A18D for customers in scientific or oil & gas domains.
