The QKISS (Quantum Key Industrial SystemS) project aims at producing high-performance, secure and certifiable European Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) systems within 2 to 3 years.

Following the success of the Digital Horizon 22 Unmanned & Artificial Intelligence Exercise organized by the U.S. Navy in Bahrain, Exail Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV), DriX, was selected by the 5th fleet’s task force 59 to take part in the two-week 2023 International Maritime Exercise (IMX 23), that will be held in Bahrain and Jordan from March 5th to 16th.

Grandeur Subserv Ltd, a company specializing in underwater and environmental engineering services, recently acquired Exail Gaps M5 USBL system for shallow water geophysical surveys on the Nigerian coast. Looking for an agnostic acoustic positioning system compatible with third-party transponders and capable of accurately tracking any asset in very shallow water, the Gaps M5 USBL system was particularly recommended.

Exail has signed a contract with the DGA (the French defense procurement agency) for the rental of an AUV (autonomous underwater vehicle), the A18D, for the French Navy. The contract is expected to last approximately two years and includes academic and operational training for 12 sailors.

Lloyd’s Register, a leading marine classification society, has awarded its first certification for an Uncrewed Surface Vessel (USV) to the DriX maritime drone. Developed by Exail, a global high-tech company and pioneer in the field of maritime autonomy, the DriX USV is operated by major hydrographic institutes and energy companies worldwide and has already received Bureau Veritas Approval in Principle (AiP).

Exail, formerly iXblue, announced the demonstration of the first 3-axis quantum inertial sensor developed within the iXAtom joint laboratory, a research team shared with the LP2N lab1 in Bordeaux. Such an instrument allows to continuously track and measure the acceleration in three dimensions and within any orientation.

Exail has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Australian company Solutions from Silicon to collaborate on providing advanced data management capabilities, enabling naval crews to prepare, conduct and manage their Mine Countermeasures (MCM) missions more efficiently.
