Further to a tender, ECA GROUP was selected to provide light duty inspection systems to Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), a humanitarian organisation operating in African countries and many other regions in the world.
ECA Group has been cooperating with MSF for 8 years and this new contract is the result of the trust placed in ECA GROUP expertise for Water Boreholes inspection.
The BH viewer 200 systems delivered can operate inside small diameter water wells with depth up to 200m and will enable to inspect the drinkable water borehole operated by MSF to prevent dysfunctions or from external factors such as pollution.
To prevent these issues, a systematic maintenance through visual inspection of the entire well have to be conducted. ECA GROUP as an expert in this domain, offers a range of top-of-the-art TV inspection systems, incorporating different kinds of high resolution colour TV cameras that can inspect these wells up to 2000m depth.
Consequences of not detecting anomalies within the networks are important and costly repairs resulting from the well yielding undrinkable water or not yielding correctly the flow of water.
