Space-grade PM gyro fibers
Introducing the line of high-performance Polarization Maintaining (PM) fibers meticulously crafted for seamless integration into Fiber-Optic Gyroscopes (FOG) operating in space environments. Critical to coil winding, our fibers showcase unparalleled precision, ensuring consistent and accurate coating diameters across each batch and from batch to batch.
Rad-hard fibers
Exail specializes in crafting optical fibers for demanding environments, including nuclear facilities, high-energy physics labs, and space. Our adaptable fibers serve various applications such as data transmission, sensing, and experiment monitoring.

Radiation sensing fibers
Exail pioneers radiation sensing fibers for high-energy physics, nuclear power plants, medical labs, and space. Our optical fibers revolutionize radiation sensing, replacing multiple point detectors with a single cable for cost-effective and efficient mapping.
Polyimide fibers
Exail provides polyimide fibers for challenging environments. Most fibers use acrylate coatings, suitable up to 85°C, but for enduring high temperatures, our polyimide-coated fibers offer unparalleled long-term protection. With a capability to withstand temperatures up to 350°C briefly and 300°C continuously, polyimide is the optimal choice, providing chemical resistance and radiation protection

Aluminum coated fibers
Developed through the 3F2E project's R&D efforts, these fibers endure temperatures from cryogenic to +400°C. Aluminum coating provides excellent chemical resistance, high-vacuum compatibility, and hermeticity to water vapor, reducing corrosion-induced fatigue. With superior mechanical stability under high radiation levels, aluminum-coated fibers are ideal for harsh environments.
