Call for abstracts
Submitting an abstract to our conference offers a unique chance to showcase your research, innovations, and experiences to a global audience of maritime and photonics professionals. Submission guidelines
- Content: Submissions must be high-level, addressing a specific operational challenge. Commercial papers will not be accepted.
- Abstract length: Please limit your abstract to 150 words.
- Format: Abstracts should be submitted in PDF or Word format.
Review process
- All submitted abstracts will undergo a thorough review by our panel of experts. Selected authors will be notified by email and invited to present their work at the conference.
Presentation format
Selected presentations will be allocated a 20-minute slot, including time for Q&A. Presenters are encouraged to use visual aids such as slides or videos to enhance their presentations.

The Exail Maritime Users Conference is now accepting abstracts for presentations on a variety of maritime topics, including but not limited to:
- Seabed mapping, surveying, and deep-sea exploration
- Subsea inspection technologies and acoustic positioning
- Environmental impact assessments and construction surveys
- Navigation, including subsea and surface solutions
- Autonomous and unmanned maritime technologies
- Data management and analytics with AI and machine learning
- Innovations in sensors, instrumentation, and regulatory compliance

The upcoming Photonics Users Conference will take place in June 2025 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye.
