Call for abstracts

Submitting an abstract to our conference offers a unique chance to showcase your research, innovations, and experiences to a global audience of maritime and photonics professionals. Our conference also provides excellent networking opportunities with industry leaders, researchers, and key stakeholders, fostering valuable collaborations and new projects. Submission guidelines

  • Content: Submissions must be high-level, addressing a specific operational challenge. Commercial papers will not be accepted.
  • Abstract length: Please limit your abstract to 150 words.
  • Format: Abstracts should be submitted in PDF or Word format.


Review process

  • All submitted abstracts will undergo a thorough review by our panel of experts. Selected authors will be notified by email and invited to present their work at the conference.


Presentation format

  • Selected presentations will be allocated a 20-minute slot, including time for Q&A. Presenters are encouraged to use visual aids such as slides or videos to enhance their presentations.

The Exail Maritime Users Conference is now accepting abstracts for presentations on a variety of maritime topics, including but not limited to:

  • Seabed mapping, surveying, and deep-sea exploration
  • Subsea inspection technologies and acoustic positioning
  • Environmental impact assessments and construction surveys
  • Navigation, including subsea and surface solutions
  • Autonomous and unmanned maritime technologies
  • Data management and analytics with AI and machine learning
  • Innovations in sensors, instrumentation, and regulatory compliance
