Now in its third edition, Subsea Navigation Day has established itself as one of the leading gathering points for professionals involved in subsea and survey projects in Brazil.
Jointly hosted by Nortek and Exail, the event brings together operators, consultants, technology specialists, decision-makers, and service providers for a full day of technical presentations, meaningful discussions, and knowledge exchange on the challenges and solutions shaping the future of the sector.
Operators and consultants panel
The day will begin with a strategic overview of key ongoing projects and demands in the subsea sector. Long-time partners Petrobras and PRIO return to share their current and future outlooks for operations. This year, SBM joins the panel to explore the growing demand in the FPSO market, while Destri Energy will provide valuable insights on the advancement of decommissioning in Brazil and its impacts on the subsea sector.
Technology session with Nortek and Exail
Following the operational discussions, this session will highlight how navigation and positioning technologies are being applied to increase accuracy, reduce operational time, and improve the efficiency of subsea projects.
Solutions involving inertial sensors, DVLs, and LBL systems will be explored — showcasing how, when properly integrated, they contribute directly to more predictable, safer operations with lower total cost — enabling better decisions and more consistent field results.
