Director of Education & Training Development Center, Hyungjoon Lee
ECA group’s A320 MTD is already proven its quality within many major airlines. The user interface (UI) is easy to access, and I believe our trainees will like it.
Enhancing the quality of training while reducing risks of damages to people and assets is of utmost priority for Aviation Training Centers. Thus, training by simulation represents an attractive, accessible and cost effective alternative to prepare the future generations of engineers and technicians.
ECA Group Maintenance Training Devices is a PC-based solution using unique technology that provides trainees with high quality training on aircraft troubleshooting, associated with a high level of immersiveness thanks a very accurate 3D representation of a virtual aircraft.
It is particularly suited for aircraft maintenance training, as it enables the instructor to check the progress of the students, monitor or supervize one or several trainees through a classroom concept. This flexible solution is perfectly fitted to adapt the difficulty or the scenario of the exercice and test the reactions of students on given issues to solve.
The interface is easy to access and to use, for both students and instructors, providing optimum ergonomy to focus on training. One can simulate a wide range of tasks and operations on the PC and it offers a wide range of functionalities to better prepare the maintenance crew on aircraft troubleshooting.
The maintenance device will be delivered in the following weeks and be installed in the ASEA cutting-edge technology Seoul Campus to support engineers and technicians in training on aircraft maintenance.
