ECA Group appoints Philippe Novelli as Chief Commercial Officer for its Robotics Division
Philippe Novelli was born in Brest (France) on May 23rd, 1961. He graduated from ENSTA Bretagne as Naval Architect.
As Officer in Armement, he initially served at DCN SAINT-TROPEZ, the DCN (now NAVAL GROUP) plant for design and construction of torpedoes.
Then, he joined DCN TOULON as Project Manager for nuclear attack submarine maintenance and then as Head of the submarine office in the Ship Maintenance Organisation.
From 1997, Commander Novelli joined DCN Indret (now NAVAL GROUP) to be in charge of the surface ship and submarine propulsion design department.
Capt. Philippe Novelli was appointed as director, ship powering business department, DCN Indret, on September 2000.
He joined ARMARIS, as director of the Malaysian Submarine Program, on September 2002.
