ECA Group & Nicomatic release new all-in-one aerospace electrical troubleshooting GSE

During Paris Airshow 2017, ECA Group specialized in the design and integration of testing solutions for the Aerospace industry, and Nicomatic ,

a manufacturer and designer of interconnect announced their partnership and co development of an innovative electrical ground support equipment able to perform wire troubleshooting and faults location in any type of aircraft.

One year later, the fruitful partnership releases The TC50-eTOOL at Farnborough Airshow 2018 among the first all-in-one & portable electrical testing solution for MROs and OEMs.

This new ECA Group T-CELL based solution is dedicated to aeronautic applications as it is validated on most-used aeronautic cable types.

Portable, rugged, battery-powered and user-friendly, it includes multiple testing funtionalities such as:  

• Distance-to-fault
• Voltage / Current / Resistance Measurement
• Phase order check
• Diode testing
• Insulation test
• Thermal imaging

 for daily electrical troubleshooting operations without any risk of cable alteration.

The Distance-to-fault, one of the key TC50-eTOOL's functionality enables easy detection and location of hard faults (Open circuits and Short circuits) with an high accuracyup to 0.1%.

TC50-eTOOL's user-friendly interface is displayed on an included rugged smartphone loading the Human Machine Interface through a secured webpage and any other device.

This unique "Plug & Play" all-in-one toolbox enables quick diagnosis to reduce Aircraft On Ground (AOG) and save critical Aircraft operational time.
