TU Dublin to support student training thanks to ECA GROUP’s A320 Maintenance Training Devices.
TU Dublin’s diplomas such as the Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Aviation Technology and their EASA Part 147 B1 & B2 Aircraft Maintenance courses prepare students for a career in the aviation industry.
ECA GROUP’s Maintenance Training Device will support TU Dublin ‘s student training as part of their Aviation Technology courses, notably in regards to aircraft troubleshooting and maintenance.
Thanks to ECA GROUP’s ease-of-use pedagogical tool, TU Dublin’s future technicians will be trained to insure safe flights.
ECA GROUP's Maintenance Training Device: the ideal solution for aircraft troubleshooting training for both students and instructors
With ECA GROUP ’s Maintenance Training Device A320 (MTD), trainees can experience active learning and perform complete maintenance tasks through the use of a virtual aircraft and a complete aircraft’s systems simulation, with a direct impact on operating costs.
Thanks to ECA GROUP’s Maintenance Training Device, trainees will have a complete understanding of the aircraft’s systems. Trainees will thus be fully trained to accurately diagnosis malfunctions and address troubleshooting operations.
ECA GROUP's MTD has a wide range of troubleshooting exercises based on ATA's aircraft documentation, allowing trainees to learn how to fix several types of breakdowns: air conditioning, pressurization from the aircraft to the engines, including hydraulic systems, control surfaces, communications, etc.
Example of a troubleshooting - ATA 32 exercise to check Aircraft NLG Proximity Sensor

The student needs to draw a diagnosis to identify the faulty part and repair it using the multimeter.
ECA GROUP's MTD can be deployed in a classroom configuration where trainees can practice on single stations while being monitored by an instructor.
This effective training solution also allows instructors to prepare their lessons, supervise the students and check their learning process through complete reports. This system aims at making aviation training more interesting, active and efficient, in a safe environment.
