The IXF-PMG family includes high-performance Polarization Maintaining (PM) fibers specifically designed for integration into fiber-optic gyroscopes operating on or above the Earth. These fibers are engineered to meet the stringent requirements of navigation systems, delivering exceptional polarization extinction, low attenuation, and excellent environmental stability. Precise fiber diameter control is critical during coil winding, as it ensures uniform coil geometry. Our fibers demonstrate exceptional consistency and accuracy in coating diameter both within and across batches. This tight dimensional control results in optimal coil performance by minimizing signal artifacts caused by irregular winding, thereby enhancing the overall precision and reliability of the gyroscope.
Additionally, IXF-PMG fibers undergo rigorous quality control and are compatible with industry-standard winding and handling processes, making them ideal for aerospace, defense, and high-end industrial navigation applications.
